This training teaches effective steps to personal responsibility in the workplace, It will help you to develop a more in-depth understanding of how you view work, view yourself in the world of work, and how you view others in relationships to work.  In addition this program will help you to understand what employers expect and challenge you to exceed those expectations.

The Power of Your Image

In this workshop, you will identify factors tht contribute to positive or negative impressions about appearance.  Understand dress codes standards and reasons for dress codes.  Categorize types of workplace apparel and determine appropriate clothing for each dress code. Demonstrate appropriate workplace grooming and hygiene.

Interpersonal Communication Skills

Become aware of how your body language, facial expressions and tone of voice affect others.  Use body language, facial expressions and voice tone to improve communication skills. Practice the four levels of listening and how to avoid  the four roadblocks to listening.  Learn and practice telephone etiquette in addition to understanding how to follow and give directions.

Cognitive Skills

Learn 3 questions for great problem solving.  Practice the 6 steps to abstract thinking,  Use creative thinking and recognize the importance of critical thinking.

Recognize and state personal goals.  Discover time management skills for your temperament.  Fine tune management skills for your own schedule.
