Job Description: 

This position is considered safety sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.  

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises Weatherization Crew members m performing weatherization work on low to moderate income homes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installs doors, replacement windows and performs other on-site weatherization duties.

Supervises and gives technical assistance to Weatherization Crew members on the job site by explanation and example in weatherization techniques and problem situations.

Makes job related decisions, assigns tasks to workers at work sites and carries out general supervision of projects.

Assist in attic insulation and sealing.

Responsible for the timely completion of projects.

Maintains daily log, submits weekly and monthly man hour reports to the Weatherization Program Coordinator and completes other reports as required.

Maintain material safety data sheets in vehicle for all products used.

Follow oral and written instructions.

Responsible for the care, maintenance and safe and efficient operation of all power equipment and hand tools.

Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.

Reports all on-the-job injuries immediately.

Attend all required training and maintain required certifications

This position requires frequent travel to offsite locations.

Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Conduct work in a moderate paced environment. Performing weatherization tasks on residential homes. Upper body strength to lift 85 pounds and carry 100 feet and move heavy loads using material handling equipment. Lower body strength to stand/walk throughout the workday. Climb various ladders and scaffolding somewhat frequently relative to areas. Environmental demands include moderate exposure to weather conditions and various airborne particles of sawdust, insulation, and common dust. Work is performed in limited and inaccessible areas frequently. Possible exposure to various supplies es containing hazardous materials or chemicals.

Job Requirements: 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School graduate or G.E.D. preferred Must have three (2) years paid employment in weatherization or carpentry with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity. Skill in verbal and written communication. Ability to delegate work assignments. Ability to work independently and with others. Knowledge of tools, methods, practices, and materials used in weatherization projects. Ability to keep accurate written time records for payroll and reporting purposes. Skill in making accurate measurements. Skill in following sketches or blueprints with accuracy in design and quality. Skill in maintaining schedule demands for completion of assigned tasks. Possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License. DESIRED: 1..         Certification from a Vocational Technical School course in Weatherization or Carpentry.
