College App Day(s) are events where MNTC students will apply online to college(s) with assistance from MNTC staff and college representatives. MNTC staff and college reps will also answer questions and share educational/career journeys.

Reflect on aspects to consider and weigh when choosing a college
Define common college terminology
Understand the different kinds of degrees and pathways

Discuss what questions they would like answered as they explore their options

Do you want to apply for scholarships but don’t know where to start? This class will help students navigate the scholarship process. Students will:
Understand the different types of scholarships available
Obtain a list of materials needed to apply for scholarships
Discover how to search for local, state and national scholarships
Develop a system to track scholarship applications
Learn how the warning signs of scholarship scams
College Representatives at MNTC
In this session, students will have the opportunity to visit with representatives from an area college. Students will have the opportunity to hear more information about the institution and ask questions.
