Job Description:
We are seeking a Habilitation Training Specialist for 17-year-old high school student with autism. Duties include working on social skills, cooking and cleaning, basic hygiene practices, personal health knowledge, and financial literacy skills, as identified in his individual plan.
The work hours for this position primarily include weekends and/or mornings.

Minimum Qualifications:
A valid driver’s license and car insurance are required.
CPR/first aid certification is required or must be obtained. Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
Must be dependable with good attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working or volunteering as a tutor, paraprofessional, caretaker, therapy aide, or in a day care or educational setting is highly preferred.
Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Job Requirements:
Follow and implement individualized strategies and programs based on his unique needs and abilities.
Assist with daily living skills, communication, and social interactions.
