What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Contracts Legal Administrator to serve as a critical partner supporting company-wide operations. This role is responsible for the end-to-end review, negotiation, and administration of a broad range of commercial, construction, real estate, and corporate agreements, while also providing support for risk mitigation, insurance, HR compliance, and international business coordination.
This position requires a highly organized, detail-driven professional who is comfortable managing competing priorities, working cross-functionally with executives and operational leaders, and protecting the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Review, Negotiation & Risk Management
Review, draft, negotiate, and redline a wide variety of agreements, including:
o Job Project Agreements
o Master Subcontract Agreements (MSAs)
o Annual Service Agreements (ASAs) and Service Agreements
o Teaming Agreements
o Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreements
o Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
o Media Disclosure Agreements
o Software Licensing Agreements
Provide legal review and support for:
o Bids, RFPs, and sales advance documentation
o Change orders and standard contract administration documents
o Routinely review, update, and maintain all company standard agreement templates.
Bonding, Insurance & Financial Risk Support
Manage and support bond-related matters including:
o Bid bonds
o Payment and performance bonds
o Security and corporate bonds
o Bond invoices
Support Accounts Receivable with:
o Bond claim notifications
o Legal collection notices
o Lien filings
Coordinate Owner/Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP/CCIP).
Coordinate and mitigate corporate insurance claims.
Support corporate property tax claims and mitigation efforts.
Real Estate, Facilities & Property Support
Provide legal support for company-owned and leased properties, including:
o New property searches and purchasing agreements
o Construction agreements and standards
o Lease agreements (new locations and renewals)
o Facility services agreements (HVAC maintenance, waste management, cleaning services, etc.)
Corporate & International Legal Support
Assist with international business coordination, including:
o Government regulations and compliance guidelines
o Agreements with international partners
o Support corporate legal needs related to operational expansion and compliance.
Human Resources & Compliance
Provide review of corporate HR policies.
Support EEO claims, risk mitigation, and compliance efforts in coordination with the HR Director.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in corporate law, construction law, commercial contracts, or related fields
Strong contract negotiation and redlining skills
Experience with construction, service, real estate, or technology-related agreements
High level of attention to detail and risk awareness
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in construction, AV, engineering, or technical services industries (preferred)
Familiarity with bonding, lien law, and insurance coordination (preferred)
Experience supporting multi-state or international operations (preferred)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment (preferred)
Paralegal certification (preferred)
Juris Doctorate a plus (not required, but preferred)
