I started Moore Norman to gain the skills necessary to move up in the automotive field. I am currently working with a mentor to learn more about the diesel side of the automotive field, in addition, to working a paid internship at Fowler Dodge while attending school.

I came to MNTC with the goal to find employment above a minimum wage job. I entered the Automotive Service Technology program and studied full-time for the first year, excelling and becoming one of the top students. During the spring semester, MNTC's Career Connection helped me put together a resume and fill out an application. The instruction I received gave me the background to gain employment and perform my job in the parts department at Eskridge Honda. MNTC gave me the opportunity to work a well-paying job with an employer who makes good on the “flexible scheduling” that I need.

I began the Automotive service technology program because I have always liked the automotive industry. When I began the program, I immediately felt like I was where I needed to be. The instructors were great with teaching me all of the skills needed for the industry. Whenever I completed the first year of the program, I was presented with the opportunity of a paid internship at Bob Howard Hyundai. I was hired at the beginning of the summer and I am continuing the internship throughout the school year. It has all around been a great experience.

I enrolled in Auto Service Technology at Moore Norman Technology Center to gain skills in automotive technology. After my first year in the program, I was offered the opportunity to start a paid internship with Fowler Honda. Interning in the field while completing school helped me gain valuable experience in the field. It is great getting paid for following your passion.

I think that The Auto Service Technology program at Moore Norman Technology Center is a great program. My instructors worked hard to help get me a paid internship at Landers Crysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Norman. Currently, I am on the lube rack and am working on getting more of my ASE student certifications. Moore Norman Technology Center has really provided a perfect experience for me, and I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is interested in the automotive field.

Loving my job is a high priority! Moore Norman Technology Center helped me to get a paid internship building motorcycles. I get paid to make things go fast. MNTC has both shown and taught me responsibility, shop safety, and grade A work.
