Shipping and Receiving Clerk
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming and outgoing shipments and merchandise. This position will manage the shipping and receiving department and staff, ensuring that all items are shipped, received, stored, and distributed in and organized and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all shipping and receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
Ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
Monitor the accuracy of all shipping and receiving records, including inventory and stock levels
Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff
Supervise crate and palletize finished goods for shipping
Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
Monitor and control operational costs
Develop and implement strategies to optimize process
Develop a thorough understanding of Corridor software
