Meaghan is a Graphic Design student that started attending Moore Norman Technology Center her senior year of high school and will be graduating MNTC in May 2017. Meaghan is currently doing a successful internship at OU Printing Services and is excited about the prospect of it becoming a full-time job soon. When asked what she learned from the portfolio contest, she had this to say, “I learned that I have more qualifications and experience than I originally realized. I also learned all the different things I can add to a resume or a portfolio to show a future employer my employability.”
2017 Second Place Winner - Reza Torbati
Reza first started his experience with Moore Norman Technology Center in 9th grade as part of Bob Ochs’ Pre-Engineering class. Now a junior, he is a Programming & Software Development student. Everything Reza does is focused towards his dream of programming robots. He has plans to attend college after he graduates. He currently arrives at Moore Norman Technology Center at 7am every morning for Calculus with Chuck Smith, before heading to his sending school, ultimately to come back in the afternoon for Programming. Katherine is an adult Programming & Software Development student that started attending Moore Norman Technology Center in January of 2016. She logs onto the Career Connection website once to twice a week to check job postings and update her resume and portfolio. When asked about the portfolio contest, she had this to say, “I enjoyed putting together my portfolio, and I am grateful I had the opportunity to enter the contest.
