Job Description: 

As an Installation Technician, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced low-voltage commercial AV systems for businesses across the country. Your expertise will drive the installation of LED/LCD video walls, touch panels, speakers, and more, delivering immersive experiences that captivate audiences.  With safety and quality workmanship as a priority, the Installation Technician installs commercial audio, video, and lighting systems as sold and to the satisfaction of the customer.  The job responsibilities also include:  Installing LCD/D:P projection systems, cabling and terminating A/V systems; pulling wire; harness racks, patch bays and consoles; erecting and disassembling scaffolding; installing components such as wall plates and speakers.  The ability to trouble-shoot basic audio, video, and control systems problems is a plus.  The Successful candidate is self-motivated and professional.

Key Responsibilities Include Cable Management: Pulling and terminating cables with precision and assembling racks, patch bays, and mixing consoles. Technical Integration: Crafting seamless connectivity between components for flawless system operation. Certifications and Safety: Training to obtain DOT and OSHA 10 certifications to ensure safe and high-quality work. Travel Opportunities: Install AV systems across the U.S., with occasional overnight stays. Qualifications: Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a construction environment Comfortable using hand/power tools, soldering, and crimping Experience in AV, low-voltage, stagehand, or electrical work preferred OSHA 10 certification is a plus Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Job Requirements: 
• 2+ Years’ Experience with Commercial Installation in the AV industry or Related Field • Prior Experience with Commercial Construction • Ability to Solder and Crimp Connectors (LXR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, and F-CONN) • Ability to Read and Interpret Construction and AV Drawings • Audio DSP Platform Certification (Ex. Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom) Preferred • Video Processing Platform Certification (Ex. Extron, Jupiter, Christie) Preferred • Control System Platform Certification (Ex. AMX, Crestron, Extron) Preferred • CTS or CTS-I Certification Preferred • Ability to Travel • Ability to Work at Heights, on Lifts & Ladders Required • Must Possess a Valid Driver’s License With a Clean Driving Record • Advanced PC Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet) • Perform Installation Task in a Timely and Quality Conscious Manner • Demonstrate Jobsite Leadership • Responsible for Job Documentation • Ability to Think and Work Independently and Meet Necessary Deadlines
