Job Description:
An HVAC Helper assists licensed HVAC Journeymen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and Air conditioning systems in commercial or industrial settings. This is an entry-level, hands-on role designed to train and prepare workers for a future career as an HVAC Journeyman.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC technicians during system installs, repairs, and maintenance
- Carry Tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
- clean and prepare the work ahead before and after jobs
- help install ductwork, vents, thermostats, and insulation
- measure, cut, and assemble parts under supervision
- replace filters, belts, and basic components
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Other Skills/Certifications Wanted:
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Basic math and measuring skills
