Client Representation: Corroborate with attorneys who represent clients in negotiations with Collection Agencies, Attorneys, and law offices, striving to achieve the most favorable terms and conditions.
Strategy Development: Develop negotiation strategies based on client objectives, legal circumstances, and potential outcomes.
Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all negotiation-related communications between clients, opposing parties, and internal teams.
Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary documentation related to negotiations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Case Management: Notate client management systems with timely and accurate case updates following each negotiation or relevant communication.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all negotiation practices comply with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, senior legal assistants, and other team members to prepare for negotiations, sharing insights and strategies.
Outcome Reporting: Report negotiation outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders, providing detailed explanations and next steps when necessary.
Workload Management: Maintain daily workload to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals to effectively manage the pipeline of accounts.
Financial Calculations: Review the Client’s available funding for settlement negotiations.
Client Assessment: Review hardship and budget specifics related to clients’ circumstances.
Document Management: Gather and submit required documents for approval and payment of settlements and fees.
Deadline Management: Ensure all legal deadlines are met and pleadings are filed timely.
Trend Monitoring: Monitor and identify trends relating to the movement of accounts through the collections process.
