Laboratory Supervisor/ Production Coordinator

Job Description:
Position Information: Provides total supervision of the OMMB milk lab. Maintains safe handling of human milk, proper care of equipment, and ensures safe pasteurization of human milk weekly according to HMBANA guidelines.
Job Duties:
Milk management: check in milk according to dates and donors, analyze human milk with milk analyzer, and oversee all aspects of pasteurizing milk according to Human Milk Banking of North America standards.
Lab Maintenance: Clean lab and equipment according to cleaning schedule daily and weekly.
Supply Maintenance: Fill and ship milk orders daily, maintain lab supply inventory, and provide a weekly accurate milk inventory.
Office Data: Maintain excel spreadsheet of inventory, milk analysis, and pasteurization logs.
As Needed: laundry, community events, OMMB milk pick ups
Other duties as assigned.
Other Skills/Certifications Wanted:
Lab experience, ServSafe, Food Handlers Certificate, Excel knowledge
Job Requirements:
Monday - Friday (8 am - 4 pm)
Standing 1-2 hours at a time
