Job Description: 

We are seeking a Front Office Reception/Billing Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have prior experience in medical billing and have at least 1 year of mental health or medical front office experience. This role is responsible for checking clients in and out, making appointments, answering phones, and following clinic protocol and procedures. Responsible for accurately gathering and entering patient information into the computer as received from the client as well as ensuring an efficient, completeand timely patient registration process. In addition to verifying and billing insurance claims. Medical insurance billing is REQUIRED to be considered for this role.

Other Skills/Certifications Wanted: 
• 1 year experience in Behavioral Health or Medical front office. • Medical insurance billing is REQUIRED to be considered for this role. • Education Required - High School minimum with experience. (Consideration will be given to candidates with the appropriate combination of education, training and experience.) • Be highly organized and detail oriented in order to manage multiple tasks at once. Outstanding organizational skills. • Reliability to be at work when scheduled and on time, reliable and dependable. • Solid working knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs. • Good oral & written communication skills. • Ability to multitask. • Be outgoing, friendly, easily connect with others and have a solid sense of empathy. • Be able to learn and operate Simple Practice EHR, Phone System, Office 365, Teams and other technology proficiently. • Be a team player, work well with administrative and clinical staff and have a passion for helping others. • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned. • Ability to maintain professional boundaries. • Be forward-thinking and innovative. • Be engaging and energetic; a team player with strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to be creative and thrive with a growing team of innovative individuals.
Job Requirements: 
• Greet clients • Answering incoming calls, text messages, emails, & faxes • Schedule patient appointments • Checking patients in/out. Gather all necessary information needed to process appointments, including demographics, insurance information. • Verify and correct patient information errors in EMR system. • Payment Collection (copays, deductibles & patient balances) at the time of service • Insurance Billing: Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and follow up on outstanding payments. • Medical Billing: Handle billing, denials, and reimbursement processes with accuracy. • Performing other duties as assigned • Ensure that all professional services are correct and complete. Meet established quality and productivity standards for self and for the team. • Ensure patient confidentiality adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
