This opportunity is with Haskell's Government Design group which offers design services to federal clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Air Force, NAVFAC, and more. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects such as command headquarters, training facilites, office buildings, housing facilities, fitness centers, and more. We work collaboratively and strategically with our clients to deliver innovative and sustainable facilities and spaces that support the sensitive, 24/7 nature of their missions.

In this role, you will leverage the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies using innovative project management methods, including model data extraction for quantity takeoffs and estimating purposes, constructability reviews, assist with design coordination using automated clash detection methods, and construction sequencing animations for pre-construction planning. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Utilize BIM 360 to create new projects, setup model files and implement BIM standards.

Develop and maintain integrated project coordination models using Navisworks software, and create clash detection reports based on analysis of multiple design disciplines and trade subcontractor 3D models.

Participate in virtual collaboration meetings with the project team, while leveraging the coordination model as a decision-making tool to solve complex coordination issues.

Manage BIM production, BIM collaboration and coordination, issue management, as-built verification, BIM handover, and other BIM processes. 

Provide quality review of models across all disciplines to ensure adherence to standards. 

Maintain records of all issued and received models/drawings, clash reports, RFIs, etc. in accordance with the company's standards and procedures.

Conduct onboarding for every designer/modeler added to the project.

Support in properly archiving models during a project and after it is finished.

Assist with managing and maintaining Revit templates and manage/edit families.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

Experience in Revit production in one or more engineering or architectural disciplines is necessary.

5 to 8 years of experience in BIM/VDC Technologies in the AEC industry is preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally in a design and construction environment.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Comfortable hosting meetings and resolving conflicts between different parties.

Ability to work independently to provide BIM deliverables. Good understanding of time and effort required for technical tasks.

Passion for innovation and utilizing new technology for construction.

Good planning skills in managing modeling and drafting works.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
