Apprentice Glazier

Glazing is a Specialized part of the Building Construction Industry.  Skills required to be a successful Glazier are similar to that of Carpentry, Welding, Electrician, HVAC, etc.  Training is on-the-job.  

Accent Glass Services, LLC is locally owned company.  We are actively Hiring individuals who are not only looking for a job, but looking for a career.  We are #GrowingGlaziers.  We provide on-the-job training in all aspects of our trade.  We provide many of the power tools and trade specific equipment/tools necessary to complete your everyday tasks.  You will be expected to provide your own handtools and we can guide you on what to start with.

You will work alongside seasoned Glazier's learning the specifics of our industry.  You must be physically able to lift 75lbs individually or 200lbs with a partner.  Safety is our #1 priority.  Lifting is not constant, but can be frequent some days.  Work is often outside during all seasons.   Most work is on the ground, but you will be asked to work off Scaffolding, Ladders, or Aerial Lifts as needed.  

A typical day is Mon-Fri 7am-4pm.  Regular Fixed Schedule. Overtime and Saturday work is available as needed.

While Apprentices start around $16-20/hr based on prior work experience.  Lead Glaziers can make $25-33/hr (in OKC Market) depending on skill set.  Many move on to other roles such as Foreman, Estimators, or Project Managers.
